Intro
Relaunch! This my new website. I'll use this page for presenting images and photography related stuff from now on. I'm planing to add some reviews in the future. Especially I want to add reviews of gear I'm currently using. While reviews of cameras and lenses of the common manufactures are broadly available I want to write about strobist gear and camera accessories.
By the way: Please let me know if you're interested in the gallery component I'm currently useing. It's working with Joomla 1.7 and is able to include images on your local webserver and picasa web albums.

Pixel Opas Review
I was searching for a replacement of my old RF-602 radio triggers. The RF-603 are no option because of the missing ability to mount them directly to a light stand and the disability to fix the transmitter to the cameras hot shoe. After a little research I found the Pixel Opas triggers. They are manual radio triggers and offer some benefits.

Background light
Some weeks ago I ordered some Pixel Opas flash triggers. To cut a long story short the Pixel Opas is a manual flash trigger in transceiver design. They replaced my old RF-602 and I'll add a short review of them later. But that blog entry is more about creating my own lightening for an event.

The Yongnuo YN460 is a very basic speedlite. It is a fully manual flash unit without any ttl capabilities.

Review Meike TTL cord
If you start using your flash off camera you'll have to find ways to trigger the flash somehow. There are a lot ways available today.
